 Prairieland Players

The Prairieland Players formed in 1989 with the idea to have fun, make new friends, put on an entertaining show and raise money for the Prairieland Community Centre. Our first dinner theatre “Seven Year Itch” was performed in June, 1990.

Over the years we have had 27 full length productions at home, making over $134,700 net profit for upkeep and improvements to our community hall.

We've performed 17 One Act Plays, and have participated in 20 Provincial competitions, winning 25 Awards and 14 Honourable Mentions.

The Prairieland Players perform twice a year. The one act play starts in September and is performed at home and at festival in late October or early November. The full length play starts in January and is performed in March or April.
