Online Utility & Tax Payments
February 15, 2018
We have partnered with available financial institutions to provide more payment options for Kerrobert's residents. You can now pay your utility bills and/or property taxes online with the following financial institutions:
- Any Credit Union
- TD Canada Trust
For Utility bills: To determine your utility account number, looking at your bill, use the number on your bill beside account number. Within the first seven numbers, you will see a series of zeros and your account number at the end. Depending on how many numbers your financial institution requires use zeros preceeding your account number to fill in any blanks.
For Example: If your account number is 0000033, and your financial institution requires four digits then use 0033 as your online banking utility account number, if your number is 0000333 then use 0333, etc. (Some financial institutions require up to 6 numbers in which case you would input extra zeros at the front of your account number to get the required 6 numbers)
For Tax Bills: To determine your tax account number, looking at your bill, use the number on your bill beside roll number. Your account number shows first, followed by three zeros. Please use zeros to fill in the required number of digits that your financial institution needs before your tax roll number.
For Example: If your tax roll number is 33 000, and your financial institution requires four numbers, use 0033 for your tax account number in your online banking. If your tax roll number is 333 000 then use 0333 as your online banking account number. (Some financial institutions require up to 6 numbers in which case you would input extra zeros at the front of your account number to get the required 6 numbers)
If you need assistance determining how to fill in your online banking account number, please call or email the Town Office.
